Should I register as a single or as a couple?
Be Collared is a website for individual people but we allow room for couples as well. If you are single you can only register as a single person. If you are in a relationship where you do not share your bdsm passion, then you should register as a single person as well. If you are in a bdsm relationship and you are looking for other people as a couple, then it is best to register as a couple. If you are in a bdsm relationship but want to have your own account so you can express your own opinion on the forums, blogs and have your own mailbox, then you should register as a single person. You can always mention your partners profile in your own profile.
What are Moderators and Hosts ?
The moderators are employees of Be Collared. They play an active role in guarding the Web site's quality. They check whether the profiles are filled in correctly. They answer members' questions, but you can also contact the moderators with suggestions or complaints about Be Collared. The moderators can read multiple languages (Dutch, French, German, Spanish and English), but they will always answer e-mails in Dutch or in English.

The hosts are members who volunteer to help with the daily management of the site. Think about WebCam sessions for validation, welcoming new members, maintaining contact with the members, providing support to maintain the site's quality, its atmosphere and the profiles.

Where can I announce my parties or activities?
Be Collared encourages its members to organize parties and/or activities and to announce them on in the forums, provided they are non-commercial. Please remember that something offered "for free" does not automatically mean "non-commercial". You can only announce a party or activity on the forums if you are the person who organises the activity. If there are rules for participating then those must also be mentioned in the announcement.
If you are organizing something special or very interesting, then you can have this activity included in the calendar on the Web site's front page. Be Collared is absolutely not liable for these activities.
