A validation is a small icon with the profile that indicates that the profiel owner(s) are "real" people and not fakers pretending to be somebody else. A validation is also a vote of trust. If you misbehave on a date there is no way that you will be validated by your date partner. Validating your profile is not required. Full Members have the option to deny unvalidated members access to their profile. Be Collared advises you to obtain a validation from somebody. A large number of members attach great value to validations, that way they know they are dealing with trusted people.
You can receive validations from other members. Only Full Members can validate profiles. You are only allowed to validate a profile if you are 100% certain that the people behind a profile are real people. Having met people by means of a WebCam session is an acceptable means of validating. The person who grants a validation is responsible for this validation. If it turns out that a member illegally and intentionally gives out a validation without having met the other person, then Be Collared can terminate the membership.
Normally all members can see the validations related to your profile. If you don't want other members to see who has validated you then you can "hide" these validations.  In that case members can still see how many validations you have but not who provided the validations.
A validation is offered to you and you can choose to accept or decline it. If you do not accept the validation then it will not be included in your validation list.
Some members only allow validated members access to their profile and photo album, or only date with validated members.
